It is important to note that all metal is susceptible to natural wear and fade overtime (CLJ’s estimated life span is 1-2 years). In order to maximize the integrity and look of your jewelry, you can follow the following steps:

• Ensure your hands are clean when handling your jewelry.

• Cleaning your jewelry will increase the lifespan of your piece. 

• Your jewelry should be the last thing you put on, and the first thing you take off. Allow your gels, lotions, and perfumes to absorb into the skin before putting on your jewelry.

• When not in use, store your jewelry in a cool dry place. Clarissa Lee has provided a CLJ bag for storage.

• Avoid rubbing pieces against each other.

• Although CLJ pieces are water-resistant, you can also remove your jewelry before showering, swimming or exercising so that your pieces can last even longer.
